Galactic Core Live Wallpaper v2.0

  - Update: Now using OpenGL 2.0
  - Update: Better performance on tablets
  - Update: Smaller filesize
  - Update: More scene depth

While it looks pretty similar at a glace, this update actually revises just about everything, and as a result I think there's a lot more depth to the scene.  The layers have been handled differently and there's now a particle system adding additional variance.  At the same time performance should be noticeably higher, especially on a Xoom or similar device.

Please let me know what you think!

  1. Latest version (2.0) doesn't work on my galaxy s. Older version worked like a charm, latest keep crashing as soon as i open it on wall selector, already tried to uninstall and install it, keep crashing

  3. Myzrael -- Have you sent an e-mail to contact@kittehface.com? I've saw one e-mail about that a few days ago but haven't been able to reproduce it on the Fascinate we have here. Which Galaxy S phone do you have?

  4. no i haven't :) i posted on market. i have a galaxy s i9000, stock froyo rom 2.2.1, custom kernel (speedmod). I have always used this wall, but version 2.0 crashes when i select the wall, the screen stays black and the phone vibrate. also koi wall does this. i tried also dynamic paint and it works flawlessly, only koi and galaxy don't work. if u want more info pls ask me ;) i forgot to tell that i use chainfire (it's a driver to play tegra and qualcomm games on galaxy, don't know if it causes issues with your wall, i'm going to try to disable chainfire, i'll keep you informed)

  5. :O i can't believe it, i was right, it's chainfire!!! i turned it off and now your walls works! so if a wanna play a tegra game i'll have to stay without your walls and vice versa :( i'll live with that, the important thing is to have discovered the issue, maybe you could add this to market description, thanks for your help jeremy and good work ;)

  6. That doesn't really surprise me, driver issues are 99% of the problems we have, and a wrapper like that is going to be touchy. Noted for future reference...
